Job Duties:
* Assisting students with special educational needs in their learning and development
* Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored educational activities
* Providing one-to-one support to students to help them achieve their learning goals
* Assisting in the management of classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe learning environment
* Collaborating with other staff members and parents to support student progress
Required Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* Experience working with children with special educational needs
* Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
Education:
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience:
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience and empathy when working with students with special educational needs
* Basic understanding of educational principles and practices
Preferred Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
* First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
* Work in a school environment
* Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
