A leading technology consultancy are currently looking to recruit a part time Finance Manager to support their finance team in the UK, reporting into the CEO who is based in the US this role will be 15-20 hours per week which will be worked remotely.
This role will manage one other person in finance and will take responsibility for the following duties -
- Maintain the accounting functions for the company's operation in the UK and US using Quickbooks
- Prepare financial reports as requested by management
- Prepare end of year returns and financial accounts for annual review by accountants
- Complete annual returns for companies house and HMRC
- Prepare and submit VAT reporting on a quarterly basis
- Monitor and process expenses
- Oversee credit control for UK and US operations
- Manage supplier payments for the UK and US entities
- Run UK and US payroll
- Line management of 2 people in finance
- Attend and contribute to management team meetings
- Producing monthly management accounts
You must have proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role, and have excellent understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes. You must have strong communication skills and the ability to report complex financial information clearly.
Full flexibility is offered on how the hours are worked throughout the week, an online meeting once a week will need to be accommodated with the CEO in the US.
