Criminal Justice Support Officer Role Profile
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Criminal Justice Department as a CJ Support Officer.
The post holder will support the Criminal Justice Senior Leadership Team, by assisting with a diverse portfolio of criminal justice business, helping to drive excellence in services to the public. Working closely with its senior leaders, you will support national and local change programmes, and efficient process design to support continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
* Providing sound technical and procedural insight into all departments within CJD, to assist management with a range of subject matters.
* Contributing to and lead work streams as directed, ensuring quality and value for money is considered, while identifying risk and opportunities for improvement.
* Demonstrating excellent communication and customer service skills to engage internal and external stakeholders, adding value to front line services.
* Working with CJD Senior Leadership Team to support a range of activities, helping to prepare briefings, papers and presentations as required.
* Preparing and presenting briefing papers and presentations to a wide range of stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
* A keen attention to detail and ability to adapt in a changing environment.
* Capacity to accurately work to tight time frames under pressure.
* The ability to interpret raw data into advanced presentations using Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent Customer service skills and a solution focused attitude.
* Excellent Communication and engagement skills.
* Experience working with sensitive and confidential information.
* Flexibility and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, while willing to use your own initiative.
The successful postholder will be require MV level vetting clearance, which will be undertaken at the point of conditional offer. There may be some requirement to work outside of normal working hours and in other locations within North Yorkshire.
