We are currently looking to expand our Warehouse Team with the addition of an experienced Night Shift Warehouse Supervisor to work at our Knowsley site.

What will you be doing?
Assist the Despatch Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of a fast-moving environment. Responsible for the day-to-day management of people within the warehouse function, to ensure company's targets and objectives are met to meet customer requirements, whilst ensuring that staff comply with health, safety, and standard operating procedures.
* Ensure that the quality of the product and service within the Warehouse is maintained at the highest possible standards.
* To supervise the team to ensure that they are always aware of their role and responsibilities.
* Work with the Despatch Manager to organise staffing levels required to efficiently fulfil volume requirements.
* Supervise stock accuracy through Perpetual Inventory (PI) checks and stock movements.
* Ensure picking process is accurate and that every order is despatched from the warehouse on time and to customers’ specification.
* Accurate and timely completion of all paperwork and record keeping.
* Ensure work allocations relate to priorities and that vehicle departure schedules are met.
* Reporting all damage caused in the Warehouse to the Despatch Manager immediately.
* Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
* Warehouse Management System Training
Requirements:
* Experience of operating in a supervisory capacity ideally within a fast paced, highly pressurised warehouse and distribution environment
* Current FLT and/or Reach Truck Licence (essential)
* Commercial awareness of the needs of the customer
* Strong understanding of all warehouse functions – goods-In/pick/stock moves etc.
* Experience of managing teams within tight quality and efficiency parameters
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and ability to adapt to bespoke systems.
* Strong people management and leadership skills, able to work without supervision.
