We are looking for a part-time In-Store Display Assistant to join our Visual Merchandising team, based in and responsible for the following location: Solihull, West Midlands
Please note that this role is for 17.5 hours per week.
As an In-Store Display Assistant you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a visually inspiring shopping environment for the NEXT customer. You will implement Head Office VM Guidelines to a high level, supporting & developing store teams along the way.
We are looking for someone with a creative eye and the ability to adapt layout guidelines to individual store needs and differing stock packages, whilst maintaining company standards.
About the role:
Managing Store Layouts
1. To deliver the best visual merchandising standards at all times, within your designated stores.
2. Adapting the layouts to suit individual store's layouts and stock package.
3. Ensure fixtures / layouts & customer navigation are maintained.
4. Analyse space management and best sellers to support layout decisions.
5. Planning & communicating phase changes onto store planograms.
6. Supporting phase change shifts in your designated stores.
7. Ensuring all marketing, graphics & props are correct and relevant.
8. Dressing mannequins for displays around the stores.
Stock Management
9. Supporting store compliance reports. Daily New Lines, Range Plans etc
10. Ensuring stock rotation and replenishment to maximise sales.
11. To maintain a safe working environment for customers and colleagues by complying to store H&S guidelines.
Communication
12. Working alongside & forging good working relationships with the in-store staff & managers.
13. Agreeing priorities on a regular basis with Regional Lead and store manager.
14. Feeding back phase / stock issues to line managers and the mock shop teams.
15. Working in conjunction with the in store display team.
16. Controlling, managing and ordering marketing items where necessary.
17. Attend Head Office monthly for phase change updates to be communicated.

21. Good analytical, planning and time management skills.
22. The ability to work on your own initiative, independently or as part of a group.
23. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
24. Can perform general manual handling duties and tasks, including lifting, carrying, using ladders etc
25. Hold a full and clean UK driving licence.
26. Ability to travel to other stores / locations where required.
