We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our welcoming team at Shore Veterinary Centre.
Our nurses play an integral role in all aspects of the practice, from patient care and anaesthesia monitoring to running nurse clinics.
Join an Experienced Team
Our veterinary team has a wide range of interests, including dermatology, dentistry, and a certificate in medicine. The nursing team is equally skilled and proactive, with one nurse holding a certificate in nutrition and another working toward an anaesthesia certification. We create a supportive and welcoming environment where case discussions are encouraged, regular team meetings are held, and continuous quality improvement is a key focus.
We are also open to and support the development of additional professional interests. The practice has recently undergone renovations and now boasts modern facilities, fully equipped for daily general practice with Multi-Parameter monitors, Bair Hugger, Ultrasound, Digital X-ray, and Dental X-ray. Our client base is fantastic, and we are proud of the high standard of care we provide.
The team is made up of 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 dedicated Receptionists, and 2 Veterinary Care Assistants, all working together in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Situated in Gourock on the beautiful west coast, our practice enjoys stunning views across the Clyde. We have excellent transport links to Glasgow by rail and a ferry to Argyll. With picturesque local walks, beaches, and even an outdoor pool across the road, it’s a fantastic place to both live and work.
