Are you a Band 7 Paediatric Physiotherapist looking for a rewarding locum role in Cambridgeshire? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!
* Job Title: Paediatric Physiotherapist (Band 7)
* Location: Cambridgeshire
* Duration: Ongoing
* Schedule: Full-time (Part-time applicants considered)
* Start Date: ASAP
* End Date: Ongoing
* Rate of Pay: £26-£30 per hour (depending on experience)
What You’ll Be Doing:
This role requires a highly specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist to manage a complex caseload as an integral member of a multidisciplinary team. The post-holder will:
* Provide advanced physiotherapy assessment, intervention, and advice to children and young people with diverse and complex physical and psychological conditions.
* Work collaboratively with families, Consultants, Nursing Teams, and other Allied Health Professionals to deliver evidence-based, patient-centred care.
* Develop and implement individualised treatment programmes for a wide-ranging caseload, including respiratory, orthopaedic, rheumatological, developmental, neurological, and complex conditions, as well as post-surgery, sickle cell, and oncology cases.
* Play a key role in education, training, and supporting other healthcare professionals and carers in physiotherapy management strategies.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in line with professional standards.
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates must have:
* A current and valid HCPC registration.
* Substantial experience in paediatric physiotherapy within a variety of specialisms.
* Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills in managing complex cases.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* A commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.
This role offers full-time hours, but part-time applicants will be considered. The contract is ongoing, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
