About the Service
We provide 24-hour support for 3 people and part-time support for 2 others in their own homes. Each individual has their own unique needs including, but not limited to, learning disabilities, autism, epilepsy, complex communication, deaf-blindness, and cerebral palsy. All of the people that we support have their own unique personalities, lifestyles, interests, and hobbies, so no two days are the same.
Shift times commence from 8am to 10pm, with finishing times across a variety of early, late, mid, and sleepover shifts 7 days a week.
This will include a variety of lone working and 2:1 shifts, with each shift providing support to only one individual, meaning you get the real opportunity to get to know the individuals you are supporting to provide consistency and build trusting relationships.
You will have office-based hours within your week to provide practice-focused support, supervisions, and assist staff in maintaining people-supported plans and adapting to changing needs.

This role could be for you if:
* You hold an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care (or other specialty recognized by the SSSC for registration purposes)
* You can be flexible; able to work days, evenings, and weekends
* You have experience of supporting culture change in the work environment
* You have strong IT and office organizational skills
* You have excellent knowledge and experience of person-centred practice
* You have the ability to coach and mentor colleagues
* You can challenge poor or unsafe practice; championing good practice and person-centred support for the individuals using services.
* You have excellent communication skills to relay complex and challenging information
