The Finance Operations Delivery team ensures the accurate and timely payment of all person-specific Adult Social Care spend. The team is also responsible for administering Deferred Payment applications, monitoring financial activity for Direct Payment accounts, and managing debt collection related to Adult Social Care Services.
As a Customer Finance Manager, you will be accountable for managing all income generated from Adult Social Care charges. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing a team while overseeing the generation of charges, billing, income, debt recovery and deferred payment applications. You will ensure rigorous system checks and balances are carried out regularly whilst maintaining thorough documentation of checks to demonstrate best practice.
Our ideal candidate will hold a finance qualification, such as AAT Level 4 or equivalent, or be able to demonstrate significant relevant experience in a finance environment. You will have substantial experience, knowledge, and understanding of Adult Social Care finance legislations and systems, such as payments, income, and debt recovery. Experience operating at both strategic and operational management levels, with responsibilities that include systems maintenance, development, and performance management will be essential.
