Exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic Quality Control Engineering position within our established team. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract where you will bring your skills and knowledge to grow and develop yourself and the team on Mass Spectrometry (MS) inspection of components and products and day to day operations. Stock inspections, goods-in, stop ships and finished product inspections, working cross functionally to implement and resolve any concerns. Use of measuring equipment is required. Review & trend inspection results and prioritise related improvement actions accordingly. Input to Non-Conformance containment actions and ensure they are implemented in timely manner to protect manufacturing or customers from further failure. Support Manufacturing personnel in identification, segregation and recovery of non-conforming material. Liaise with Product Quality Engineers to ensure non-conformance & inspection issues are escalated for investigation where appropriate and support Investigations. Maintain the MRB process and update SAP records. Maintain the effectiveness of the Quality system at the sites via adherence to applicable policies and procedures. Education: HND or equivalent in an Engineering discipline, or relevant experience Experience: Experience within electro and/or mechanical quality control and supplier control areas. Must have an excellent understanding of product quality with proven experience. Understanding standards ISO 9001 and desireable ISO 13485; 21 CFR parts 11 and 820. Competencies: Good written and oral communication skills are required, effective communication with staff, peer groups, etc across organisation. Must be able to work independently and in a team and connect with all levels of the organisation. Computer literate - knowledge of Word, Powerpoint and Excel abd SAP is an advantage.
