The Princess Alexandra Hospital is seeking a whole time Specialty Doctor in Dermatology. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual for who would like to join our team and help with providing, maintaining and developing a high-quality local service for the people of West Essex and N&E Hertfordshire. Dermatology services are based at The Princess Alexandra Hospital with outpatient clinics running onsite as well as at two community hospitals – Herts and Essex Hospital in Bishop Stortford, and St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping. The post holder will be expected to deliver outpatient services across all three sites, and support with inpatient referrals at Princess Alexandra Hospital where indicated. The duties outlined below are not definitive and may be changed in accordance with the needs of the service: The post holder will undertake a share of the current outpatient workloads but will be expected to continue to review and develop the service in partnership with the existing Lead Consultant, the other consultants and clinicians plus the Clinical Support service directorate management team to meet the requirements of the local population. A detailed work programme will be agreed with the postholder on appointment and will be reviewed annually to take account of the changing needs of the services provided by the Medicine Directorate.
