THE COMPANY:
Roland Europe Group Ltd
Roland is a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of electronic musical instruments including keyboards & synthesisers, guitar products, electronic percussion kits, digital recording equipment, amplifiers, and audio processing devices. You'll be part of a dynamic team, where we believe in kindness, support, acceptance, and hard work and try to provide room for personal development for everyone.
At Roland, you will find a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere. You'll work for a company with global activities, but it doesn't feel corporate. We are always looking for colleagues who have an enthusiastic, positive, and driven personality. People who are eager to further develop and challenge themselves. If you also have a passion for Roland, our products, or music in general, you might just be our perfect match.
THE POSITION:
Do you have superb communication skills with a can-do attitude? Are you detail-oriented, thrive in a process-focused environment, and see everything through from start to finish? Are you comfortable multi-tasking and have the ability to handle the unexpected? Do you have very strong organisational, administrative, and computer skills? If you can answer “yes” to all of the above, we want to hear from you.
Our Roland and BOSS showroom on Denmark Street in central London showcases the very best of our products to new, aspiring, and experienced musicians alike. We are looking for someone to support the store team in delivering the best experience we can on the operational side of the business, from products arriving in our store until the goods have been delivered to our customers’ homes or workplaces.
YOU:
We’re looking for someone to join the Roland team in Denmark Street, to ensure all stock arriving in our shop and warehouses is accounted for accurately, to track shipments, oversee inventory audits, make sure stock rooms are organised, products are priced, and deliveries to our customers run smoothly.
To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with supply chain procedures and have good communication skills to interact with customers, service providers, and our internal team. You should be highly organised, very comfortable using a variety of software packages, and have experience in previous administrative roles.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve inventory-related issues.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing stock counts, reconciliations, and data entry tasks.
* Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changes as they present themselves.
* Good numerical and mathematical skills for inventory calculations.
* Physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve lifting and moving heavy items.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.
* Communication skills to comfortably converse, build relationships, and interact appropriately with individuals, customers, and the wider Roland/BOSS team at all levels.
* An interest and knowledge in music and musical equipment would be a bonus, but is not essential, as we can teach what is required in this role.
THE PACKAGE:
* Competitive benefits package
