Our client operates in the London insurance market and are a growing Lloyd's MGA. They are seeking a Finance Accountant to join initially on a contract basis with a view of the role becoming permanent. This will be working alongside the Group Financial Controller in month-end ledger closings for all the legal entities in the group, assisting with the production of the monthly group financial statements, controlling the group monthly and annual expense budgets, reporting on actual vs. budget expenses, preparing weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts, helping with year-end tax computations, assisting with information requests including analysis of intercompany balances, and also assisting with month-end journal postings. You will have experience of working in Insurance industry, or the Big 4, and will have an accounting qualification or working towards one. Prior experience of working on month-end closing procedures, strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting analysis, and experience of working with large quantities of data will be required.
