Job Description
What is the role?
To ensure the wellbeing of residents/tenants by supervising, maintaining and developing the standards of care and practice of Social Care Workers and to participate in direct care activities. This will include providing extended personal care.
The post holder will also be required to assist the Unit Team Leader in the development of innovative and integrative services for residents.
Extra Information:
The Grade of this post is Grade 2 / Level 7; the hourly rate is from £17.28 to £18.70 and the annual salary is from £33,338 - £36,078 plus a 33.3% non-core allowance.
Working Pattern: 3 x 12.33 hour shifts a week.
Please note the successful candidate would require to either hold SSSC registration or be registered within 6 months of taking up the post.
This post is considered to be Regulated Work with protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme Update if already a Scheme Member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
Please note you may be required to meet PVG costs.
