School-based Youth Justice Prevention Officer
Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Liverpool to assist with the appointment of a School-based Youth Justice Prevention Officer, on a 1.5-month contract, likely to be extended at the client's discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £16.04 - £20.31 per Hour
Responsibilities:
* Support young people to improve their attendance in school as well as their engagement in their education placement. Collaborate with stakeholders including schools, safeguarding teams, health care providers, CAMHS, and the Police to achieve the best outcomes for children in education settings.
* Develop creative, strengths-based approaches to working with children and families.
* Be based within the school while also supporting young people and their families within the community.
Requirements:
* Essential to be a car driver or have access to appropriate transport to travel citywide.
Please note:
* Must be available to work immediately or at short notice.
* Must have the right to work in the U.K.
* This role requires an enhanced DBS.
