Job Description
Cure Talent is partnering with a global medical organization to find highly skilled Maintenance Engineers.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of high-volume manufacturing facilities by conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and optimizing process performance.
You will collaborate with the Projects Team to implement equipment modifications, maintaining efficiency in clean room and controlled environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct preventive maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns to ensure continuous manufacturing operations.
* Monitor equipment performance and provide technical input to maintain and improve process yields and efficiencies.
* Collaborate with the Projects Team to implement equipment changes and upgrades.
* Fault find and maintain bespoke automated equipment, continually improving systems and processes.
* Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records in line with stringent quality standards.
Requirements:
* Relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with skills in precision assembly setup, fault finding, and problem solving.
* Completion of a recognized engineering apprenticeship or higher education qualification (ONC, HNC, HND, or degree).
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with peers and other departments.
* Maintain high standards of record keeping and adherence to quality systems.
* Experience with laser cutting, micro fluid deposition, vision systems, or regulated industries (pharma/medical devices) is advantageous but not essential.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this role is £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
