Major Talent are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Manager, to join an established manufacturing business based near Oldbury, West Midlands.
As part of the ongoing growth plan, as Production Manager you will be an integral part of the Leadership Team. This role will be site based.

Production Manager Responsibilities:
Overseeing complete production operations
Managing up to 12 direct reports
Organise and manage all aspects of production
Understand the needs of customers and adjust production to suit
Ensure Company health and safety requirements are complied with and improved
Ensure Company personnel requirements are achieved
Ensure continuous improvement and all production KPIs are maintained and improved
Ensure working hours match production requirements
Ensure tooling requirements are maintained and achieved
Assist with new product and process development
Ensure maintenance requirements for plant and equipment are achieved and attend technical / maintenance meetings
Communicate and work with the Production Director and other departments as required. Manage and control WIPSkills and characteristics as Production Manager,
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a previous management/supervisory position.
Full understanding of our manufacturing systems and be capable of operating in a 'Kanban & just in time' environment
Excellent managerial skills
Be well organised, multi-skilled, self-motivated, and professional
Computer literate
Attention to detail; accuracy is paramount
Responsible for achieving objectives on own initiative, as well as part of a team
Good timekeeping and attendance
Be consistent with workload and work to tight deadlines
Be flexible with tasks/duties so that adequate cover is available if ever required
Be able to communicate at all levels and have a "can do" attitude strong leadership and managerial skillsWhat's in it for you:
Base salary up to £45,000 d.o.e.
Monday - Friday 37.5 per week, 12:30pm finish on a Friday
Holiday 25 days per annum + Bank Holidays
