SUMMARY
Brandt has an opportunity for a Corporate Account Manager NZ (Golf & Turf Equipment Sales) to join for the Golf and Turf team. This position will be responsible for identifying opportunities and developing plans to grow our turf business with Large Commercial accounts and Council businesses across NZ. This position will be responsible for working closely with our branches to develop and execute sales and assist with support plans for these accounts in each of their market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Identify potential Commercial and Large Turf customers.
2. Develop strong relationships with customer’s key decision-makers and senior leadership.
3. Responsible for driving new and used equipment sales to a select group of strategic customers that work across multiple branch locations and support the sales team with large deals.
4. Create and implement action plans with the branches to drive increased sales and identify product support opportunities based on strategic planning with the Director of Sales.
5. Mentor and coach the sales force in day-to-day activities and assist with sales process and training.
6. Develop and maintain robust machine installation processes to ensure quality control levels are met with customer purchases, thus providing the best experience possible.
7. Work closely with John Deere and our other suppliers to develop strategies to increase sales.
8. Attend conventions and customer events when required, with a high focus on demonstration activities and events.
9. Be involved in relevant association and industry activities with a focus on improving Brandt customer relationships including National Turf Conferences & Commercial trade events & turf field days as required.
10. Understand all tendering-related processes for Commercial and Turf products within NZ and assist branches where needed.
11. Organize and ensure the submission of any lost sale information in a timely manner.
12. Identify and report on market trends and opportunities.
13. Work on key accounts to create forecasts for equipment needs.
14. Support the Director of Sales in developing Brandt-run customer activities such as golf events and extensive demonstration activities.
15. Travel may be required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Post-secondary diploma or degree desirable.
2. 5+ years of industry sales experience.
3. Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on the sales process.
4. Relevant technical machine experience in the product categories is highly desirable.
5. Knowledge of the Turf and Commercial, pipeline, and associated businesses.
6. Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome challenges and obstacles.
7. Maintains a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
8. Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
9. Maintains a well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
10. Candidates must be able to obtain or possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally.
