In this role, you will deliver the Certificate in Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG).Responsibilities:Deliver engaging sessions to small groups of learners.Encourage engagement with education, build confidence, and develop skills applicable to employment and further education.Create a positive learning environment, adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs and abilities of the learners.Conduct outreach work outside the classroom setting, supporting learners in various departments within the prison.Focus:Signposting and Referral - Information, Advice, or GuidanceSpecialist Advice Work in Practice - EmploymentSpecialist Advice Work in Practice – Refugee, Immigrant, or Asylum SeekerQualifications and Skills:L3 qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance/ L3 Coaching & Mentoring. Strong communication skills to inspire learners.Ability to create adaptable and imaginative lessons.Experience working with individuals who have had negative experiences with education.
