Bella Vou Clinics provide world class exceptional experience of surgical care for private patients exclusively dedicated to cosmetic plastic surgery procedures. We carry out a large variety of plastic surgery procedures from within our own boutique hospital facilities, from Breast surgery, abdominal, weight loss, thighs to arm procedures as well as face and necklifts, nose, eyes to intimate surgical procedures which span the spectrum of reconstructive, trauma and aged related complaints. We perform all of our services from within our own general anaesthetic operating theatre suites, patient bedrooms and other related ancillary resources and infrastructure. The Candidate’s key responsibilities:
* Have had years of experience as a theatre manager with direct operational control of the day to day running, organisation, strategy and execution of all aspects of a fully private cosmetic surgery centre, ensuring efficient workflows and excellent patient care delivery.
* Overall responsibility and approval of all new clinical staff appointments, staff rotas and appraisals.
* Provide overall clinical leadership and operational management to all areas of the theatres and ward areas.
* Set and maintain clinical practise and standards within Governance and regulatory framework.
* Promote a cost effective, patient focused quality service for the continuing success of Bella Vou.
* Provide clear focus on business results; maintaining the balance between quality healthcare delivery and sound financial performance.
* Lead and implement the hospital’s clinical strategy and provide support and input to the hospital’s overall business strategy, consistent with corporate direction.
* Healthcare supply management, stock control management
* Overseeing of Infection Prevention and Control for the Hospital.
* Overseeing of clinical governance system and maintaining practice policies and CQC regulations
* Management of service level agreements with suppliers for histo, micro and blood science. Clinical cleaning and maintenance needs.
* KPI tracking and reporting of theatre / surgeon utilisation to maintain and increase performance.
* Overseeing of ‘Out of Hours’ provision
As the operational director for the surgical facility, you will:
* Be operationally responsible for our theatres and ward nursing teams
* Ensure the delivery of high quality, clinically effective assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
* Build strong relationships with surgeons, anaesthetists, senior leaders, nurses, other healthcare professionals and of course our patients.
* Be fully accountable for leading, motivating and supervising multidisciplinary teams
* Be trusted with everything from budget management to business planning and clinical governance
Essential Skills Required
* You will be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC pin number, GMC registered Doctor or ODP
* Have held the position as theatre manager with a minimum of 2 years experience.
* Have a minimum of 5 years in direct management and leadership experience in a hospital environment rather than just 5 years of working as a nurse, doctor or ODP.
* You will have a strong clinical quality background and have knowledge of the CQC process.
* You will have risk management, governance and patient safety and quality experience.
* You will have infection control experience.
* Competence across a range of clinical, management and leadership skills, organisational and IT.
* Professional and clinical knowledge acquired through your years of working in a clinical role alongside further education and development
* History of continual professional development in management and clinically related subjects
