Role Purpose:
This role is responsible for collecting, processing, and analysing data to provide insight that drives decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, develop reports, and create visualisations that highlight trends and opportunities. By leveraging statistical techniques and data tools, you will ensure data accuracy, improve efficiency, and support strategic initiatives.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Using Syncforce, work cross-functionally to ensure that all business product masterdata is correct.
2. Ensure that all business users follow the process for SKU setup.
3. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports across the business to communicate information and findings effectively to stakeholders.
4. Work cross-functionally on projects to understand data needs and gather requirements for various projects.
5. Maintain documentation of data processes and methodologies to ensure reproducibility and compliance.
6. Ensure data processes are rolled out across any new businesses joining the group to ensure standards reach the required level.
7. Champion and manage various systems, such as Syncforce and Anaplan.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
1. Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization.
2. Strong skills in SQL, Excel and at least one BI tool (Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc).
3. Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field would be a benefit.
4. A positive, solution-orientated approach. A dynamic, agile, and quick-thinking mindset. Challenges the status quo, always looking for opportunities to raise the bar, in others and themselves.
5. Experience of working in an FMCG business preferable but must demonstrate experience of working in a fast paced, customer focused environment.
6. Exceptional communication skills to interface with a wide variety of audiences across the Group, including people with non-finance background.
7. Passion for pets and the pet food industry is a plus!
