Queens Park Care isproud to be working in partnership with an expanding premium carehome provider to recruit an Estates & Project Manager fortheir residential and nursing care home portfolio in England andScotland.
As an Estates& Project Manager you'll ensure that our clienthave wellmaintained environments so that their residents feel athome and their staff can do their jobswell.
Our client willlook to you to support their care homes in England and Scotlandwith their resources products and contractors to ensure they runefficiently. As the Estates & Project Manager you canexpect plenty of variety. You could be pulling together a bank oflocal contractors one moment and discussing the budget forrefurbishment projects with Registered Care Home Managers and theOwners the next. Across everything you do your focus will becreating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where firstcl care andsupport can be delivered for the residents and theirfamilies.
What TheyCanOffer:
* £80kSalary Depending onExperience
* 40hours per week contract
* Mileagereimbursed at 45 pence per mile for the first 10k miles 25 pencethereafter
* Hybrid/remoteworking: a combination of working from home visiting care homes andoccasionally meeting with the Owners at the HeadOffice.

* 33days leave (including BankHolidays)
* Travelis required for this role occasional overnight stays may berequired and all expenses are reimbursed.

InterviewProcess:
The interviewprocess will be in a twostageformat.
* StageOne – Video call interview with the Owners.
* StageTwo Inperson interview and presentation with the Owners.
TheCandidate:
As Estates& Project Manager the wellbeing of the residents will beyour number one priority. You'll make sure all work iscarried out with sensitivity to theirneeds.
* You'llhave at least one trade s or relevant property and constructiondegree or equivalent and a proven ability to manage projectsbudgets andtraining.
* istthe Registered Care Home Managers in ensuring their services aresafe andcompliant.
* Theability to inspect and report the completed work streams is of agoodstandard.
* Managearchitects for the delivery ofplans.
* Sourcematerials collate quotations and negotiate pricing withsuppliers.
* Createa robust approval process for payments to be released against workscompleted.
* Manageprocurement andinventory.
* Sourceand negotiate contractorquotes.
* Bean excellent communicator who is able to build strong workingrelationships with the OnSite Maintenance Teams ExternalContractors Registered Care Home Managers andOwners.
* Ableto demonstrate Health and Safety awareness through discussion.
* Youshould be reliable and flexible regarding travelling and workhours.
* Minimum3 years' experience in a similar role. (Estates ManagerFacilities Manager Project Manager Property Manager etc.)
* Thisrole requires a full UK driving licence access to personaltransportation IT literacy and experience in planned preventativemaintenance budgets/reports.
* Nonessentialbut ideal if you have experience in new build projects i.e.groundup.
