About the Role:
Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Planner / Planner to manage and deliver high-quality residential schemes. This role is perfect for planning professionals with 2-3 years of experience in residential development, consultancy, or local authority, looking to progress their careers within the new homes industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing Planning Applications: Lead on residential planning applications from inception to approval, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely delivery.
Project Ownership: Independently manage projects, while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with local authorities, consultants, landowners, and internal teams.
Strategic Planning: Conduct planning appraisals, manage planning histories, and provide expert advice on development potential.
Consultant Team Coordination: Oversee external consultants, ensuring seamless project management.
Negotiation: Secure planning consents, often for developments of 40-45 units, through proactive problem-solving and negotiation.
About You:
Experience: 2-3 years of planning experience, ideally in residential development (housebuilding, consultancy, or local authority).
Qualifications: RTPI-accredited planning degree (essential).
Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proactive Mindset: Results-driven, with a strategic, problem-solving approach to planning challenges.
Team Player: Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
