If this sounds like you, and you're seeking a rewarding job role, we are currently recruiting for a number of Care Support Assistant to join our Independent Supported Living Service in Durham.
Working independently and as part of a team, you will support young people and adults to access a range of activities both within our residential homes and in the community. You will need to be enthusiastic, able to use your own initiative, have a drive and resilience for what is often a demanding role; and you must be people-centred with good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive, trusting relationships with the adults we support.
This particular care home can be very challenging due to the nature of the service users that live here. We are looking for candidates that have at least 2 years experience of working in the care sector and we ask that you are hard-working, willing to learn and committed to helping those we support to live as safely and independently as possible, in a nurturing home environment.
