Your Role as HLTA: Support class teachers with planning, delivering, and assessing lessons across various subjects. Provide 1:1 and small group support for students, particularly those who may need extra help to meet their learning goals. Lead interventions for students who require additional support in specific subjects or areas of development. Assist in behaviour management to create a positive and effective learning environment for all students. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to class teachers to ensure that learning targets are met. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and help ensure they are fully included in class activities. Help create and maintain learning resources and classroom displays that engage and inspire students. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ HLTA qualification or equivalent experience in a primary school setting. ✅ Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in supporting and delivering lessons. ✅ Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a flexible and proactive approach to supporting the class teacher. ✅ Passion for working with children and helping them achieve their potential. ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
