We are expanding our audience engagement efforts and looking for an enthusiastic Audience Support Assistant to join our team in Westminster, London.
You will play a vital role in ensuring our audience has a seamless and engaging experience across all UnHerd and other Group titles (Spectator, Apollo etc.) platforms. From responding to reader queries and moderating discussions to overseeing merchandise orders and assisting at live events, this position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced media environment and enjoys interacting with our community.
Requirements
* Customer Engagement: Answer audience queries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring a high standard of customer support via email, chat and phone.
* Community Moderation: Monitor and moderate the UnHerd comments section, fostering constructive discussions while upholding our community guidelines.
* Platform Maintenance: Conduct daily audits of the UnHerd website and app to identify bugs or glitches, escalating technical issues to the appropriate teams.
* Merchandise & Orders: Manage and oversee orders from shop.unherd.com, ensuring merchandise is delivered promptly and customers are kept informed.
* Editorial Support: Assist in assembling and editing UnHerd’s weekly newsletters, ensuring accuracy and alignment with our editorial tone.
* Office & Event Support:
o Help with the general organisation and stocking and general office housekeeping.
o Assist in the programming and running of UnHerd Live events, helping to coordinate logistics and audience participation.
o Help to host the UnHerd Lunch Club, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for guests.
* Ad-hoc Support: Provide assistance on various projects and tasks as required, adapting to the dynamic needs of the team.
The successful candidate will be:
* A proactive and highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills.
* Comfortable handling multiple responsibilities and working efficiently under pressure.
* Enthusiastic about UnHerd’s mission and familiar with our content and audience.
* Experience in customer service, community management, or audience engagement is a plus.
* Basic knowledge of content management systems (CMS), email platforms, and digital tools is desirable but not essential.
