Role Purpose
* Develop and implement commodity strategies to leverage GKN Aerospace’s spend for cost and service improvements.
* Implement & manage corporate contracts regionally and globally.
* Coordinate contract implementation through the P2P function at sites and ensure compliance.
* Manage cross-functional stakeholder teams to identify needs and implement contracts supporting business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Support internal customers in fulfilling strategic requirements (cost, performance, quality, sustainability).
* Deliver targeted savings to improve profitability.
* Develop and document commodity procurement strategies for Professional Services.
* Lead stakeholder teams across countries to improve contracts.
* Communicate and gain support for commodity strategies across the organization.
* Provide analysis and reports to senior management on plans and benefits.
* Negotiate with suppliers to maximize benefits.
* Develop a consistent approach to indirect commodities.
* Analyze data to identify procurement opportunities.
* Manage Requests for Proposal / Auction activities.
* Monitor contract compliance and address issues.
* Create commodity budgets and forecasts, embedding them locally.
* Implement standard business review processes.
* Steer procurement strategies aligning with strategic goals.
* Demonstrate knowledge of procurement activities and supply markets.
* Lead with influence, integrity, passion, and humility.
* Build and lead remote sourcing and implementation teams.
* Engage stakeholders across functions and regions.
* Manage projects effectively.
* Embrace challenge and seek opportunities for improvement.
Preferred industry experience includes aerospace, banking, or financial consultancy.
