We are currently recruiting for a Monitoring Engineer to join our team at G2S (Greatworth to Southam).
This individual will support the activities of the Instrumentation and Monitoring Coordinator.
You will ensure the installation of the monitoring system is carried out as specified by the Designers and in accordance with the instrumentations and monitoring statement. We would like you to assist the IMC with the production of the Contractors Monitoring Plans, required for the construction of each asset.
You will check and ensure the quality assurance processes for commissioning and testing are followed and that the relative monitoring related documentation and records are produced to an acceptable standard. You will also confirm that the monitoring sub contractor produces and updates a works programme that meets the expectations and requirements of the main works.
This role will require you to liaise with the relevant EKFB personnel to ensure permits, licenses and materials are available when required. You will also carry out checks to verify that the information required for all monitoring review meetings is available, including statuses against the trigger levels stated in the monitoring plans. You will also need to provide access and copies of the processed monitoring data as required by the Project Manager within the agreed period.
About The Candidate
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in Site Investigation (GI) and/or managing or installing instrumentation and monitoring.
- Experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of large infrastructure projects
- Excellent communication skills
- You must hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle
