We are now looking for a Production Planner to join our Resource Planning function!
Working Hours: Wednesday to Saturday or Sunday to Wednesday subject to fixed shift team roster
Hours : 7am – 7pm

You will play a key role in provision of real time integrated achievable production planning for core products processed over 2 depots, ensuring overall equipment, transport and cost effectiveness, serving discerning customers on 7 day ordering cycle, on time in full at quality.
Duties:
1. Align daily sales forecasting with operations processes over 2 depots to generate and maintain a production plan on rolling 6 week basis.
2. Publish rolling weekly 7 day production plan with associated known risks, solutions and opportunities for enhanced delivery. Analyze and proactively manage significant variances in actual orders vs forecast.
3. Ensure timely and efficient communication of accurate deliverable plans, foster cross functional collaboration, sustain best practice to align shared objectives and build trust with continuous improvement
4. Identify and resolve any anticipated issues in continuous product supply, achieving quality and labour standard, equipment or transport capacity.
5. Continuous monitoring, evaluation and considered adjustment on the day of daily production plan to ensure OEE and OTIFAQ delivery.
6. Ensure Bill of Materials accurate and comprehensive across raw material, labour and packaging to support uninterrupted supply and on time allocation..
7. Efficient use of ERP system to communicate production plans and generate works order instructions.
8. Ensure comprehensive knowledge and understanding of product quality at intake and in stock to ensure satisfactory FIFO allocation of short shelf life perishable products to optimize on shelf life.
9. Develop and maintain capacity planning framework, SOP and KPI with yield and waste control being at core. .
10. Continuous improvement of data insights, planning processes, systems and performance..
Skills and Experience
11. Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
12. Desirable – Masters degree in Planning or Supply Chain Management
13. Knowledge of SQL
14. Hands on experience in complex FMCG manufacturing environment
15. Utilising Lean Manufacturing methodology with minimum 2 years continuous work experience
16. Demonstration and utilisation of ‘Just in Time’ principles.
17. Demonstration and application of Theory of Constraints methodology.
18. Highly proficient with IT systems
19. Efficient large data handling and statistical management
20. Ability to present, manage and contribute to complex, agile decision making processes
21. Strong communication skills developed from working within a demanding industry and business
