We are seeking a detail-oriented Communications Manager to support the communication efforts of a large-scale network upgrade and transformation project across 800+ hotels. The successful candidate will create clear, consistent, and timely communication to ensure that hotel teams, IT departments, and stakeholders are kept informed and engaged throughout the project. You will play a key role in preparing updates, materials, and announcements that help the organisation understand the progress and benefits of this critical initiative.
This position is perfect for someone with strong writing skills, excellent organisational abilities, and experience working on projects in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Communication Support:
1. Create and distribute communication materials such as project updates, newsletters, FAQs, and announcements to hotel staff and internal stakeholders.
2. Assist the program management team in drafting concise progress reports and updates to keep hotel teams and regional management informed of key project milestones.
3. Maintain and update the communication schedule, ensuring timely delivery of all relevant information.
2. Stakeholder Engagement:
1. Collaborate with the project management team to ensure that all project communications are aligned with overall timelines and milestones.
2. Coordinate communication between different hotel teams, IT staff, and regional stakeholders to ensure all parties understand the project’s progress and impact on operations.
3. Serve as a point of contact for inquiries from hotel staff, answering questions or escalating concerns related to the project.
3. Content Creation and Editing:
1. Draft and edit engaging communications that help stakeholders understand the project’s objectives, benefits, and status.
2. Assist in creating documentation, guides, and reference materials explaining new systems or processes resulting from the network upgrade.
3. Ensure that all materials are accessible and easy to understand, even for non-technical audiences.
4. Event & Meeting Coordination:
1. Help organise project-related meetings, town halls, and webinars to provide updates and facilitate Q&A sessions with stakeholders.
2. Support meeting logistics, prepare presentation materials, and assist with follow-up communication, ensuring key takeaways are documented and shared.
Skills & Experience Required:
1. Communication & Writing:
1. Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create clear and concise content for various audiences.
2. Experience developing communication materials such as newsletters, emails, and reports.
