Main duties of the Speech and Language Therapist:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of adults presenting with communication and swallowing disorders.
* Use appropriate diagnostic tools, standardized tests, and observational methods.
* Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for patients.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist/SLT:
* Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy and HCPC registration.
* Recent UK/NHS post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist.
* At least 2 years’ clinical experience, with at least a year of adult acute experience.
* Must be dysphagia trained, signed off competencies, and able to see patients independently.
* Must have established knowledge of assessment and therapeutic interventions for patients with swallowing and communication difficulties.
