This is a stand-alone role and is truly generalist in its areas of responsibility including employment law, contracts, disciplinaries, grievances, recruitment support, sickness, absence and performance management. Ideally suited to a talented HR Advisor wishing to step up, or a tenured HR Manager keen to work with a great leadership team in a thriving small business.Key areas of responsibilityEmployee Relations managementWorking with key areas of the business recruitment and onboarding processesPartner with managers in the business on all Company HR related policies/procedures.Continuous improvement of HR systems and practices, reviewing and updating company policies when necessary.Coordinate staff appraisals, reviews, and probation meetings.Supervise Absence Management cases/Oversee performance management process.Support as required with the disciplinary and grievance processes.Support with Learning & Development efforts, including working with external training providers to coordinate course attendanceMaintaining and updating the HR Information Systems, including administration around all starter/leaver informationInfluence positive employee relations across the business to maintain and improve business output requirements and ensure increased employee engagementPartnering with Owners/Leadership team on strategic HR initiatives and projects across the businessAs HR Advisor or HR Manager you will have experience within a standalone or small team environment already and have an in-depth knowledge of Employee legislation and HR best practice. You are Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and enjoy the challenge of managing a range of responsibilities and situations. This role is full time, however if you require a degree of flexibility this will be considered.
