We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist (Band 8a) to join an NHS Hospital team in Kent. This exciting opportunity is available for an ASAP start, with the role requiring a commitment to working 5 days per week.
Position: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 8a)
Location: NHS Hospital, Kent
Contract: Full-Time (5 days per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to various hospital departments.
Conducting medication reviews and optimizing pharmaceutical care.
Providing expert advice and guidance to medical and nursing staff on pharmaceutical matters.
Ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medications in the hospital.
Supporting the management of inpatient and outpatient prescriptions, including clinical interventions.
Leading and mentoring junior pharmacy staff when required.
Essential Criteria:
Minimum 2 years of NHS hospital pharmacy experience in a clinical setting.
Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC.
Excellent clinical knowledge and the ability to make informed decisions in a hospital setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Proven experience in providing a high level of patient-centered pharmaceutical care.
