An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Operative to join our busy site in Gateshead to work within the Specialist production team. The team is responsible for the production of a variety of documents and publications in large print, braille and audio.
Reporting to the Specialist Production Print/Audio Lead, your main responsibilities will include:
* Producing a varied range of products in accessible formats including Braille, Audio and Large Print.
* Deliver the allocated production work to meet agreed production schedules.
* Work with speed and accuracy whilst maintaining agreed quality standards.
* Packing goods ready for shipment.
* Operating production line equipment e.g packing machines/commercial printers.
* Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery.
