The post has become available due to a planned retirement.
Our surgery operates on a total triage model with 15 mins appointment slots for the urgent care team.
Typically, you'll be seeing patients who have requested an urgent/same day appointment. You will be providing assessment and management advice for new medical problems only (not follow-ups).

2. Dealing with minor illness and injury and experience in diagnosing, prescribing, and referring.
3. Conducting some home visits.
4. Participating in the administrative and professional responsibilities of the Practice team.
5. Ensuring the clinical computer system is kept up to date with accurate details recorded and amended.
6. Attending and participating in Practice meetings as required.
There may be an occasion when a requirement to carry out other tasks arises, depending upon factors such as workload and staffing levels.
