The role
We are seeking an independent, motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to help grow our business by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and expanding our client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to attract new customers, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs.
What you will be doing:
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, acting as the main point of contact
3. Generate and follow up on leads to convert potential clients into customers
4. Conduct client meetings and presentations, showcasing the value of our products/services
5. Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
6. Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring profitability
7. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
8. Attend industry events, networking sessions, and conferences to generate leads
9. Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and deliver exceptional service
10. Maintain and update accurate records using CRM software
11. Forecast and track sales metrics, providing regular reports to management
12. Stay up to date with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activity
13. Oversee and manage day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations
14. Handle customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally
15. Support the team by undertaking additional duties as needed to meet business requirements

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE:
1. Proven experience as a BD / Account Manager or similar role
2. Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
4. Excellent negotiation and closing abilities
5. Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
6. Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Knowledge of the property maintenance industry is a plus
9. Understanding of market trends and competitors
10. Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office
11. Applicants must reside in London.
