Our team ensures high quality, consistency and reliability for all products throughout the complete life-cycle of our flexible pipe systems manufacturing.
Collaborate with dynamic, cross-functional and international teams
You will be responsible for implementing a defect free culture across the business, enhancing the reliability in our process, product, and services to improve our customer experience. You will play an essential role in collaborating with various functions to drive Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) down and increase First Time Yield (FTY). You will support all on-site quality needs and audit requests, lead continuous improvement activities, conduct top issues RCA, and present outcomes to customers and senior leaders.
As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading by example to exemplify the Baker Hughes core value, including care, lead, collaborate, and grow. You must observe the business non-negotiable to uphold safety, integrity, and quality.
2. Working with all key stakeholders in our enterprise process to navigate proactive issue prevention and risk mitigation actions.
3. Engaging stakeholders to review and analyze product and process nonconformities, conducting NCA/RCA investigations, ensuring effective containment/correction/corrective/preventive action to be completed in a timely manner and on-time closure on NCR.
4. Conducting continuous improvement training to the organization, strengthening the problem-solving tools usage and robust defect prevention actions.
5. Providing input in FMEAs and in the industrialization process, continually enhancing our process capability and readiness to execute flawlessly.
6. Performing internal audits in accordance with the audit program, including workstation audit.
7. Assisting in analysis, reporting, monitoring, and training involving audit items.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
1. Have BSc. in STEM or business discipline or equivalent experience.
2. Have good experience in manufacturing operations.
3. Have experience in QMS and audit process. Deep understanding in compliance requirements, including ISO9001:2015.
4. Have very good communication and presentation skills to all levels of audience, conduct town hall briefing and leadership report out.
5. Have experience in evidence-based management methods. Knowledge in statistical analysis and process control methods.
6. Have working knowledge of Windows software, including Mini Tab, MS Project and the specific ability in the advanced use of Excel spreadsheets.
7. Have Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification, ability to implement Quality programs/systems and achieve measurable goals.
