We’re looking for an Employee Liaison Officer to join our team at our site in Wednesbury (6 Months FTC) The benefits of working for Avara Foods: £12.50 per hour Paid Weekly Earn a minimum of £500 per week Secure contract, guaranteed hours and opportunities for overtime T’s & C’s apply Working Hours Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00 About the role: As an Employee Liaison Officer you will take responsibility for the on boarding process for all new recruits within the factory. Acting as key point of contact, the ELO will help embed Avara Food’s values and culture during the first 3-6 months of all new recruits’ employment with the business. Key responsibilities will include: Meeting and greeting all new recruits on their first day of employment Working with facilities, supporting the provision of PPE and lockers for new recruits Competing check ins with new colleagues in week 1-3, providing feedback to the production teams Ensuring that SOPs are understood and completed prior to entering the factory environment Working closely with the Training Administrator to ensure that training is being done across site with new recruits and existing employees and drive completion through the production management team e.g. main SOPs are up to date. Supporting managers to ensure the 3-7-11 process is complete and up to date Working closely with the onsite agency colleague to ensure a consistent experience is gained for both new employees and temporary employees Liaise with the agencies to ensure the accurate recording of hours for agency colleagues, supporting the timesheet process Work with the HR Team to support the delivery of documents to colleagues in a timely manner Co-ordinate attendance for training / occupational health appointments What you’ll need to be successful: Good level of English and basic numeracy skills The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential Who are we, and what do we do?
