Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant passionate about supporting children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD)? We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide essential support within specialist provisions in Batley and nearby areas.
About the Role:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with PMLD.
* Assist with personal care, mobility, and communication needs.
* Support teachers and therapists in delivering tailored learning plans.
* Help create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
What We Look For:
* Experience working with children with PMLD or complex needs.
* A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach.
* Strong teamwork and communication skills.
* Willingness to assist with personal care and medical needs.
Desirable Training (Not Essential):
* Moving and Handling training.
* PEG feeding or medical care experience.
* Makaton or alternative communication methods.
* Team Teach or behaviour management training.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
