Key Responsibilities: Underwriting Excellence: Manage and underwrite a diverse book of complex international property facultative accounts. Strategic Implementation: Follow guidelines and implement strategies to achieve financial goals. Client Engagement: Deliver top-notch service, build relationships, and expand business opportunities through proactive marketing and sales efforts. Market Awareness: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor strategies, and market dynamics. What We're Looking For: Experience: Experience gained in underwriting property insurance or reinsurance from an Underwriting Assistant / Assistant Underwriter position, preferably with a focus on high-hazard manufacturing and energy risks. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using technical rating tools, including catastrophe models. Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Communication & Negotiation: Excellent skills in communication and negotiation. Team Player: Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive under pressure. Market Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the London and international reinsurance markets. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in claims, risk management, or loss control. Demonstrated success in negotiating complex facultative programs.
