Salary: Grade 3, £12.45 - £12.85 per hour
1 hour per week This role operates on an annualised hours contract. The hours will need to be worked flexibly to meet service needs. You may be required to work additional hours.
Your role:
As part of the Events & Hospitality Team, you will work within the various leisure facilities across the Borough and on a wide range of other event locations.
The main duties will to be part of the catering staff and operations and manage the kitchen and its resources to ensure a quality service is provided for the complete running of the events catering services across our portfolio. You will be handling cash, using a POS system and cash reconciliation. You will be compliant with health and safety, food safety, control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH) and manual handling.
About you:
The ideal person for this role needs to be able to plan, work and manage their time efficient and effectively demonstrating accurate and concise work. You must have good organisational, verbal and written communication skills and use your own initiative and work flexible as part of a team.
You will have great customer service skills to deal with a range of people and will always promote a professional image, which is representative of the service. You will be a person who is passionate about events and the role and dedicated to providing the best service possible to customers, staff and visitors to the leisure centre and other event locations.
