You will be responsible for
* Managing a portfolio of products and suppliers.
* Ensuring all processes remain GSCOP compliant.
* Managing process changes in branch orderable products.
* Root causing out of stock and ensuring key issues are clearly communicated.
* Managing poor performing suppliers.
* Ensuring service level and stockholding targets are achieved and maintained.
* Achieving smooth intake planning by adhering to correct processes.
* Monitoring the value of delisted stock and overstocks and taking action to keep stock levels within agreed targets.
* Identifying seasonality and proactively planning to ensure on-shelf availability targets are met.
* Identifying and responding to trends.
* Ensuring the launch of new lines.
* Reviewing, monitoring and maintaining promotional and normal sales forecasts to ensure on-shelf availability targets are met.
* Ensuring maximum availability for the start and during all event activity, ensuring that critical timescales are adhered to and issues escalated to the correct level.
* Fostering good working relationships with the trading team ensuring that a daily route of communication is in place in order to deliver the best service to customers.
* Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
* Escalating any issues to the relevant person/persons.

You will need
* Exceptional communication & stakeholder management.
* The ability to work independently and provide solutions.
* Great attention to detail, writing of reports, interpreting data and keeping of accurate records.
* To be curious and to maintain knowledge of relevant markets and market developments.
* Flexibility in your approach.
* Experience in working in FMCG.
* A proven record of working autonomously as well as part of a team.
