They are seeking a skilled and inspiring English Teacher to join their faculty in a full-time, permanent position starting this September. Position Summary The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's thriving English department and cultivate a love of literature and language in students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. The role entails: Designing and delivering engaging and rigorous English lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational ethos. Fostering a passion for reading, writing, and critical thinking in students, equipping them with essential communication skills for success. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing personalized learning strategies to maximize individual potential. Collaborating with colleagues within the department and wider school community to develop and enhance the English curriculum and extracurricular activities. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in English Language, Literature, or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification. Proven experience teaching English at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. Ideal Candidate: Passionate about English language and literature, with a strong commitment to student success. Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
