Assistant Revenue AccountantRobert Half is seeking an Assistant Revenue Accountant to join a business in South Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a role with a strong analytical focus.
Responsibilities:
* Issue sales invoices to customers in line with their requirements and internal processes, using in-house systems and Microsoft Excel.
* Address any issues, queries, or complaints related to customer invoices promptly.
* Proactively communicate with customers to ensure timely payment of accounts.
* Collaborate with the Credit Controller to resolve any outstanding issues.
* Prepare reconciliations to ensure invoicing accuracy.
* Assist with month-end revenue recognition tasks, including accruals and revenue reconciliations.
* Support the Revenue Accountant and Financial Accountant with VAT returns and audits.
* Maintain customer accounts and rates in internal systems.
* Provide support across all areas of the sales ledger function.
* Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required to meet business and customer needs.
