Sales Analyst
North London (Hybrid)
£30k - £32k + Bonus
My client is a leading beauty brand owner with a broad portfolio of stunning brands across various categories.
We are seeking a proactive and analytical Junior Sales and Trade Analyst to support the sales and trade operations teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Excel skills, a forward-thinking approach, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
* Analyse and monitor sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
* Develop detailed reports on sales performance, customer behaviour, and market trends.
* Utilise advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) to create and automate reports, dashboards, and performance trackers.
* Assist in tracking promotional activities and evaluate their impact on sales and trade performance.
* Support the team in trade forecasting, planning, and inventory management.
* Partner with the finance, marketing, and supply chain teams to support alignment on business goals and sales strategies.
* Assist the Sales and Trade Manager in preparing for key meetings with data insights and performance updates.
* Implement new tools, techniques, and processes to streamline sales tracking and forecasting.
* Contribute to the development of performance dashboards and tools for real-time business monitoring.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field is beneficial
Strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., advanced formulas, pivot tables, charts, macros).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
Proactive and forward-thinking mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills to present data effectively and work with cross-functional teams.
Experience in sales, trade, or the beauty industry is a plus.
