This is an exciting opportunity to join The Disraeli School. The admin team are the first port of call when visiting The Disraeli School. We are looking for a cheerful, polite, proactive individual to join our busy team. This is an essential role in the school to provide efficient administrative support to the whole staff team. This role will have responsibilities for all school trips and parent communication.
Key duties
1. As part of the admin team:
2. Ensure all visitors and stakeholders receive a warm welcome to our school.
3. Ensure all internal and external telephone calls, parent queries and emails are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
4. Complete administration tasks as directed by the line manager.
5. Contribute towards the administration systems, producing reports and record keeping including the use of Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, databases and IT packages including SIMS and FMS.
6. Comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting all concerns to an appropriate person.
7. Set up and manage extra-curricular clubs.
8. Produce good learning certificates each week.
9. Provide book labels for teachers as required.
10. Assist in processing changes to pupil data and update published lists.
11. Manage the organisation of all school visits, liaising with visit leaders.
12. Support the organisation of events eg. Summer Fair.
13. Support the Business Manager in Health and Safety related matters.
