The role
As a CAFM Support Engineer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The CAFM system drives efficient management and maintenance of essential assets, with the CAFM Support Team at its core. As custodians of asset data, they ensure seamless system use, deliver impactful training, and provide critical insights through data and reports to empower both the wider business and the MOD customer.
Day-to-day, you’ll manage and maintain the CAFM system, producing maintenance schedules, providing compliance support, generating reports with Crystal tools, and delivering system training to ensure smooth operations and stakeholder success.
* Manage and maintain the CAFM system for Nuclear Radiological Safety and Non-Safety Asset records.
* Develop, maintain, and oversee maintenance schedules using the CAFM system.
* Provide recommendations on work priorities, maintenance conflicts, and process strategies to support compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
* Utilise the Crystal reporting tool to meet CAFM stakeholder reporting needs, including compliance with Key Performance Indicators.
* Organise and deliver CAFM system training, including onboarding, system updates, and refresher sessions.
This role is full time 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements.
Essential experience of the CAFM Support Engineer
* Proficient in the use of MS Office applications specifically MS Excel and Outlook.
* Experience of Computer-Aided Facilities Management systems or database/software records maintenance and management - Highly Desirable
* Experience of Crystal reporting and SQR - Crystal info report writer - Desirable
* Experience of delivering training, particularly systems training to users/students - Desirable
* Knowledge of using and updating SharePoint, creation and data based aspects - Desirable
Qualifications for the CAFM Support Engineer
* Educated to Level 3 in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) e.g. A Level or equivalent.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
