Job Summary:
Working with a leading and global business based in Billingham, due to growth we are recruiting a Stock Controller where you will monitor and coordinate stock levels within the warehouse
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordination of free issue supply to key suppliers
* Receipt and removal of stock and monitoring of costs
* Carrying out incoming goods inspections, including completion of hazardous area checks as appropriate
* Liaising with suppliers and quality team to resolve non-conforming items or product quality issues
* Coordination of stock checks in house and at third party premises and rolling stock checks to ensure stock levels are correct
* Monitoring of stock levels and coordination of purchasing requirements for the department to ensure minimum stock levels are held
* Liaising with the finance team to ensure stock value is correct and providing monthly WIP and offsite stock figures
* Reviewing stock management and procurement procedures on a regular basis and update as necessary
* Quarterly reporting for Waste electrical equipment in accordance with regulations
* Assisting with implementation of new stock management system
* Filling and maintaining records of quality documentation relating to receipt of hazardous area equipment
* Shared maintenance of company vehicle and occasional delivery and collection of goods
* Carrying out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed
* Liaise with Commercial, Operational and Support teams at all levels
* Create value and provide a contribution to controlling costs within the Assurance group
* Have a significant impact on operational performance
