VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major client with the Recruitment of an Experienced Transport Planner to join an experienced and dynamic team based in Craigavon .
Salary - £30,500 - £38,00
Hours - Mon-Fri- 10:00-19:00 - One weekend in Four
Overview - As a Transport Planner you will be required to organise and plan the collections of our the fleet. Read the Transport system and and deliver all relevant info to the drivers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage drivers, vehicles and sub-contractors to allocated routes and loads for collections.
- Ensuring route plans are planned efficiently and most effectively for the Driver
Brief and debrief drivers.
- Ensuring information is accurately communicated to Drivers.
- Leading customer excellence with all customers.
- Keep up to date with current legislation regarding Road Haulage regulations.
- Update company systems to ensure efficient operations.
Criteria:
* At least 1 years experience in planning
* Experience using Manpak/Mandata
* Experience liaising with customers on a daily basis
* Experience liaising with Drivers on a daily basis
* Experience working alongside Senior Management.

Requirements:
* Previous Transport Knowledge is essential!
* Excellent Communication - Written, English and Verbal.
* Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft for Data Analysis and reporting purpose is essential.
* Good knowledge o of IT Systems relevant to planning.
* Ability to engage a team and drive initiatives.
* Problem solving capabilities.
* Able to work under pressure.
