Job Title: Senior Care Assistant – Days or Nights
Salary: £14.80 per hour plus incentives
Hours: Full Time – 3 x 7am-7pm / 7pm - 7am shifts per week, including alternate weekends, or night shifts available

About Us:
Located in the picturesque village of Walkeringham, just 5 miles from Gainsborough, our home is set in a beautifully extended 19th-century barn. Offering a homely yet modern environment, the home sits within two acres of landscaped grounds, providing personal and dementia care to 41 residents.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will lead shifts and provide the highest possible level of care to our residents, assisting with their daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity. Your responsibilities include:
* Leading shifts to ensure high standards of care are maintained at all times
* Providing and documenting daily medication rounds without error
* Overseeing and supporting your team, ensuring all care tasks are completed to the highest standard
* Promoting best practices and challenging poor practices
* Conducting regular one-to-one meetings with team members and addressing any concerns or complaints in line with the Home Manager
* Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care)
* Minimum of two years’ experience as a Care Assistant in a residential/nursing home setting
* Understanding of Person-Centred Care Planning and adult safeguarding principles
* Ability to work under pressure and manage a team
* Strong communication and time management skills
* Must live within 30 minutes of the home
Preferred Requirements:
* Two years’ experience in a senior care role
* Experience working with residents living with dementia
* NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health and Social Care or above
* Knowledge of National Care Standards and effective one-to-one performance reviews
